Final Wreck Of Space - "Frothy Drink"

Due on July 12th, the second album from oddball band Final Wreck Of Space, coming a whole two years after their debut "Cat Strangling", sees them at their most bizarre.

And nobody likes weird do they?  Where the original and unpredictable lyrics are welcome, the tunes are just awful.  High point is the third track, and probably first single, is "Flick It", a rather catchy little number.  Otherwise, avoid like an unshaved muff!

David Jason - "Fuck The Fuckers"

An unlikely candidate for hip-hop meets heavy metal (what degenerates term 'rap metal') is the affable Mr Jason.  He is a truly witty rapper whose penchant for the controversial really comes into play on the opening track "Burn the Cunt Who Seeks The 12 yo", the '12 yo' being something people say on the internet in child pornography.  So I'm told.  Apparently.  Nothing was proved.

His words are genuinely genius and his admirable ridiculing of some of society's scum show him to be a nice man behind it all.  A lot rests on the success of this album, namely his planned second album, "Burn The Fuckers".

Deathofbeth - "There Was A Girl"

The debut album from up-and-coming, and self-professed, "rock-poets" Deathofbeth features many songs, none of which are either poetic or by any definition good.

The shoddy guitar playing and incessant warbling of lead singer Matty Bryan are poisonous to the ears.  It's totally and utterly crap.  The title song "There Was A Girl" is very poor, lazy lyrically and musically.  The best track is the equally lazy "Shemilia" but is the best of a frankly terrible bunch.

Not for anyone who respects music.
