After working as a journalist for seven years at a horrifically left-wing media magainze, called "Harem", Horaldo Damp had the idea of devoting a publication to the lesser-known ventures of writers, singers, actors and musicians, things that were actually decent to watch or listen to.
"Upper Class" had its first edition published in April 1981, and featured a review of the independent film "Various Types Of Evergreen Trees" and a huge feature devoted to Roger Moore.
Now, 23 years later, the magazine is thriving still.
